Dr. Spoorthi Arun

Dr. Spoorthi Arun is an American Board Certified Internal Medicine physician who returned back to India after practicing medicine in the US for 15 years. Her passion for preventive medicine is reflected throughout her career in the US. Having trained at some of the best institutions globally and worked at world class hospitals such as Cleveland Clinic (Ohio,USA), Virgina Mason (Seattle, USA) and Geisinger Health System (Pa,USA), she believes that patients in our city and country deserve the same standard of evidence-based and respectful care that patients have come to expect in the very best institutions.

Ms. Katyayini

Katyayini is an advanced certified yoga instructor from the International Sivananda Yoga Vedanta Centre with over 13 years’ of experience. She is a Level II yoga teacher under the Scheme for Voluntary Certification of Yoga Professionals launched by Ministry of Ayush, Government of India and managed by Quality Council of India. She also holds a Master’s degree in Yoga. She has been teaching yoga at IIT Madras for the past 9 years. Over these years, she had inspired and positively changed the lives of more than 1000 students and campus residents. She has been instrumental in creating an interest among students for practicing yoga daily. The way Katyayini teaches yoga is very appealing. She designs her classes based on the requirements of students and pays individual attention to the needs of all students in the class. She acts as a continuous source of motivation for many to strike a balance between health and work. Yoga is a life changing experience and with an instructor as good as Katyayini, it is certain that many more students and residents will be encouraged to take it up.

Ms. Swati Mehta

Swati Mehta teaches a fusion of Yoga practices that are grounded in Sivananda style, and her teaching expresses the joy of movement, with a strong emphasis on finding the balance between strength and surrender. Her creative sequencing and passion for teaching that comes straight from her heart motivate her students to expand their potential and find their own rhythm with Yoga.Her yoga sessions typically bring people into a state of peace and relaxation that carries over to daily life. Even a beginner can reach to the next level through her methodical guidance.Swati is a life-long student of her mind and body, holds a master degree in finance, and is a Certified Yoga Teacher from the ‘International Sivananda Yoga Vedanta Center’ and Level 2 QCI Yoga Teacher certified by the Ministry of Ayush, India.Swati’s philosophy is grounded in her conviction that everyone can be empowered through Yoga, and she’s committed to making Yoga accessible to the diverse practitioners who attend her classes.

Ms. Preetham Chandavarkar

Preetham Chandavarkar is a 61 years old cheerful person, who has been practicing Yoga for more than 20 years and teaching Yoga for the last five years. She has been certified as a Yoga Siromani by the Sivananda school of Yoga. She strongly believes in promoting Yoga for general well-being and always wishes to impart knowledge of Asanas & Pranayama to as many people as possible.
